Public Goods
The most distinctive feature of the Mobick project is that the majority of the circulating supply is designated as public goods. Currently, approximately 15,915,324 BMB is designated as public goods, an allocation meant to support the ecosystem's long-term growth, development, and operational stability.
16 Public Wallets
Every wallet address holding public goods is publicly disclosed, and anyone can transparently verify them through the explorer. The funds are distributed across a total of 16 wallets, of which 15 wallets each hold 1,000,000 BMB, while the 16th wallet is currently in use and holds the remaining amount.
The public goods wallet panel on the homepage queries the balances of these 16 addresses from the explorer in real time and displays their sum. Clicking each address lets you verify it directly on the explorer.
You can view the full list of public addresses on the explorer.
Meaning and Use of Public Goods
The significance lies in the fact that the founder holds no personal tokens and instead discloses the majority of the issuance as public goods, thereby relinquishing the discretionary power of a large holder. Going forward, this allocation will be used as a public resource for the ecosystem.
For example, it is distributed "for free, not sold" to companies that will add value by using the Mobick mainnet. From a company's perspective:
- Acquire the governance coin of a blockchain platform free of securities-law disputes at no cost
- Build their own services on top of a decentralized chain to earn user trust
- Avoid the regulatory risks faced by coins based on ICOs or investment contracts
The aim is to simultaneously resolve both the "only adding value to someone else's chain" problem and the regulatory problem that arise when building a dApp on an existing chain such as Ethereum.
