Private → Public Roadmap
Mobick currently operates as an optimized private blockchain. This is a stage aimed at stabilizing the early ecosystem, and the plan is to gradually transition to a fully public blockchain, targeting 2029. This mirrors Bitcoin's own path, which initially relied on a small group and became decentralized in stages.
In 2026, the New Bedford Upgrade switched the mainnet rails and migrated approximately 235,230 addresses to the new chain.

All blocks, transactions, and public goods wallet balances can be verified by anyone through the explorer.
