Mobick uses a self-custody wallet. Because control of your assets rests entirely with you, be sure to follow the guidelines below.

Storing Your Seed Phrase (Recovery Phrase)

Record your seed phrase offline (on paper, etc.) and keep it in a safe place.
Never share it with anyone. Neither the operators nor customer support will ever ask for your seed phrase.
Do not store it in screenshots, the cloud, or messengers.
If you lose your seed phrase, your assets cannot be recovered.

Use Only Official Channels

Always install the wallet app and services only through official routes.

Beware of Phishing and Fake Sites

Look-alike domains (e.g. btcmobick.net) unrelated to Mobick are not official sites.
Any route that prompts you to manually install as a file an app or browser extension not registered on the official app stores (Google Play, App Store) may pose a security risk.
Use only the routes provided through official channels.

Migrating a Paper Wallet

We recommend moving the BTCMobick from a distributed paper wallet into the official wallet app for storage. For instructions, see the Send, Receive & Paper Wallets page.
